According to E!, Lovato was discharged from the hospital on Saturday and flown straight to a rehab facility where she will be spending a significant amount of time. Lovato was found unconscious in her LA home on Tuesday. Paramedics administered Narcan, which is used to reverse to opioid overdoses and took her to the hospital.

After a brief period of recovery, Demi finally spoke up about what had happened. She took to Instagram to address her downtime, writing, “What I’ve learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet.
